Nostos Apartments is a wonderful luxury boutique hotel unit, located in the beautiful traditional settlement of Oia in Santorini. An oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation that unfolds in front of you as a romantic refuge, overlooking the endless blue of the Aegean and the inactive volcano of the Caldera. A place ideal for couples. From the experienced team of 3ds, it was asked to create a renewed website, through which the value of personal experience, the sense of privacy, exclusive luxury, and harmony, offered by Nostos Apartments, would be highlighted.
The design and implementation of a modern and state-of-the-art website were preceded by detailed research that will fully meet the needs and requirements of users. Every guest can learn more about the luxury facilities of Nostos Apartments, browse with ease through a multi-level menu, and be informed about the unique experiences on offer. The bright sunset, the soft colors in the background, and the selected typography enhance the feeling of warmth and coziness that the hotel complex wants to project. The website is fully responsive and adapted to all devices, primarily to smartphone users, with a special configuration and mobile-first design. Also, a redesign of the previous logo was carried out, in order to be easily recognizable and memorable and in line with the elegant charm and philosophy of Nostos Apartments.
Particularly important was the contribution of the SEO team that undertook the improvement of the content of the website by using various in-house tools. They aim to restructure it so that it targets keywords that are of interest more effectively and ranks higher than the competition. A technical check and changes were made at the level of metadata and header tags, as well as images, backlinks, and URLs, to achieve the creation of a more SEO friendly website and the best indexing by search engines.
Then, original and qualitative content was created to present the services and amenities offered by Nostos Apartments and to inform the object of the business to the general public. Then, the loading speed and the size of the website were measured in order to have a faster search experience by the visitors and to be rewarded in the search results. The actions of the SEO team were completed with the registration of the domain in the Google Search Console platform, giving access to information on the visitors’ activity on the website.
